Lookin fer an old beat em up [Solved]

Can't think of the name of that arcade game you used to play? This is the place to ask!

Lookin fer an old beat em up [Solved]

Post by CrocopFan » November 22nd, 2010, 6:47 pm

I remember playing a beat em up years ago, unfortunately I dont remember the name and I couldn't find it on MAWS.

I do remember the following:

1.) Cabinet had a picture of a ninja holding his fingers up to his mouth as if he was saying "shhh"
2.) I believe the game had 4 playable characters
3.) I think one of the characters had spiky blonde hair, and when he died he knelt down
4.) This was a scrolling beat em' up game

MAME Addicts!! I need your help badly, trying to remember this game is driving me mad! :whatttt:

Well done! So, how did you find it, kept searching around on MAWS?

I couldn't find it on MAWS. I went to Romnation, and downloaded games that I thought sounded like beat em ups until I finally found Silent Dragon.

Depressingly, it's a very low quality beat em up game. It's weird how things are different when you are younger!

Lol, that's true sometimes. Some games still seem to hold up pretty well though. Vendetta is good example of that. It's just as much fun for me today as it was back when I used to play it in arcades. Silent Dragon does have one or two redeeming features. The way the sprites zoom in and out of the background was a nice touch and one of the bosses looks like Jagi from Fist of the North Star.
